Clinic this summer at Pinkees’ Rod Shop in Windsor Colorado.
Stainless Trim Works is proud to announce the addition of training clinics as one of our services. If you are a classic car owner with a desire to learn something new, or if you want to be involved in the process of your cars restoration this clinic is for you. We are offering a one day clinic on how to repair your stainless trim. In this clinic you will learn my techniques on how to repair minor dents and return the piece to a bright shine. If you have a dent in your molding and the piece is otherwise in good condition you will be able to repair the damage and polish it bright.
Hands on clinic
We will teach you about the tools and supplies involved in the process as well as my own techniques in straightening and polishing. We will be polishing our repaired piece by hand, a method which will give surprising results. There will be a demonstration on polishing with a high speed buffer. We will go over the safety issues involved in the polishing process, and make sure you have a clear understanding on what it takes to run a buffer safely. Basic supplies for the day are provided, but each person would need to bring a pair of well fitting gloves. If you have any questions and are interested in participating, please Contact Us. 970-213-2115
